Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has thanked everyone who was involved with last week’s Business Expo at the Three Counties Showground. The event saw 120 exhibitors and over 850 guests attend on the day, enjoying the entertainment on offer at all stalls, sampling delicious local produce and socialising over free tea and coffee in the dedicated Networking Zone.
The morning began with the Networking Breakfast, allowing guests to socialise over a breakfast banquet before hearing from keynote speaker Ash Whittaker from Dell EMC, Ben Mannion, Strategic Development Director at Hewett Recruitment and Vice President of the Chamber’s Board, and Sharon Smith, Chief Executive of the Chamber, which signalled the official opening of the event.
Guests commented on the lively and buzzing atmosphere at the Expo, with exhibitors competing for “Best Stand” at the event by showcasing their bright and engaging stands. The Chamber would like to congratulate Professional Call Minders for their triumph, winning the competition with their stylish and welcoming theme and receiving a free stand at the Spring Business Expo in March.
It was brilliant to see both businesses and charities benefiting from attending the Expo, with Alison Palfrey, Fundraising Manager at Breast Cancer Haven Hereford, and Lexi Craigie of Worcestershire Breast Unit Haven, commenting: “It was fantastic to be able to network with so many local businesses during Breast Cancer Awareness Month (October).
“We would like to give a big thank you to Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce for organising such a fantastic event. We loved the Food & Drink Zone, and the atmosphere was enjoyable throughout the day.”
