Progress to date

Worcestershire has achieved a number of high profile achievements in the past 12 months, including highly innovative projects in the national news such as the development of a 5G testbed, the creation of a new Careers Hub and the county’s first ever tech accelerator, BetaDen. The 2018 Annual Report provides more information on the latest developments taking place in Worcestershire’s business community, as well as the LEP’s priorities for delivering increased growth.

This year’s 28 page report is introduced by the Chair of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, Mark Stansfeld, and Chief Executive, Gary Woodman.

The report highlights delivery against the four key areas of the Worcestershire LEP’s Business Plan:

Planning, Infrastructure and Development
Employment and Skills
Business Growth
Profiling and Promotion.

Projects delivered within Worcestershire’s £71.7m Growth Deal Programme and €68m EU funding all feature within the report. An end of year financial report and Board member and Business Board member overview, can also be found in the report.
