Advice clinics to support employers to hire apprentices

Local employers are being invited to attend FREE clinics to understand more about the support available to hire an apprentice.

Apprenticeships offer a pathway for employers to take on people who are willing to learn new skills and shape them into their ideal staff and build their workforce plan.

The Worcestershire Growth Hub and Worcestershire Apprenticeships teams have joined forces to help local small and medium sized businesses understand how to hire apprentices.

On 20 April, the teams will be running two clinic sessions to help local organisations with understanding how to hire apprentices, the benefits of hiring apprentices and what support is out there for both the employer and apprentice.

The two clinics will be run in the morning at the Avoncroft Museum in Bromsgrove from 8-10am and then in the afternoon at The Swan at Whittington in Worcester from 12pm-2pm. The clinics are FREE to attend, but places are limited. Those interested are encouraged to secure their place sooner rather than later to avoid disappointment.

As well as advising on apprenticeships, the Worcestershire Growth Hub will be able to provide wider business support advice at the clinics as well.
