The Business Awards have been established as part of the Enterprising Worcestershire Business Support Programme and is an entirely free event for local businesses. The event not only recognises the hard work, dedication and commitment of individual entrepreneurs but it also provides local businesses with the chance to showcase their success.
Over the last three weeks businesses have been nominated in six award categories ahead of last September’s deadline.
A panel of judges will now carefully assess and score all the nominations announcing the shortlist of finalists in each Award category on 26 October. The public will then be asked to vote for the winner with voting open until 9am on Monday 2 November.
The Award Ceremony announcing the winners will take place at the Sixways Stadium, Warrior’s Way in Worcester on Wednesday 18 November between 5pm and 9pm.
David Smith, Enterprising Worcestershire programme manager, said: “We are delighted to be launching these business awards in partnership with Blue Orchid. Not only will they give us the opportunity to celebrate the success of local new businesses, but will also give them the chance to showcase their products or services, network with other companies and build customer trust in their organisation.”
