The University of Lincoln along with Midlands Connect are staging a workshop in Hereford to explore how emerging developments in rural mobility and digital technology can be used to improve the lives of people and businesses in rural areas. The workshop is part of a research project being conducted on behalf of Midlands Connect.
Rural Businesses are invited to attend the workshop to voice their opinions on the number of mobility challenges, including access to services, employment, education as well as access to health and care services. The workshop will focus on the current mobility needs of rural communities and businesses, and provide the opportunity to discuss the potential role of innovative mobility solutions.
The university and Midlands Connect are keen to gather a wide variety of perspectives, and would welcome attendance from a range of stakeholders involved in local community activities, education, healthcare and businesses operating in rural areas.
