As part of the Connecting Schools and Business programme, Worcestershire’s largest careers event the Worcestershire Skills Show, will return once again this year and business people are being asked to volunteer to conduct practice interviews.
This year’s Worcestershire Skills Show will take place on Wednesday 9 March between 9 am and 7pm at Sixways Stadium, Worcester.
Over 1500 students are booked to attend the event, with more than businesses offering “Have a go” activities on their stands throughout the day.
Students will be offered the opportunity to undertake “Mock Interviews” with business leaders throughout the day and business leaders are being invited to give up a few hours of their time to support this activity and help develop the County’s future workforce.
The ‘mock interviews’ will run in hourly sessions between 9am and 3pm. A large number of students have already stated their interest for this activity and any help would be gratefully received.
