Businesses encouraged to have their say in Quarterly Economic Survey for Quarter 4

Local businesses are being encouraged to take part in the quarter 4 Quarterly Economic Survey from Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.

It takes 90 seconds to drive change. Businesses who complete the survey will be part of the 7000 other UK businesses by taking part in the Quarterly Economic Survey, ensuring that the challenges or opportunities organisations are facing are placed in front of HM Treasury and the Monetary Policy Committee.

The QES is the private sector’s largest business survey in the UK and enables local businesses to have their voice heard. Last quarter 51% of businesses identified staffing costs as the primary cause of pressure to raise prices during Q3 2019. Sector analysis of the Q3 results revealed that business confidence in profitability and turnover plummeted in the manufacturing sector.
