Businesses encouraged to utilise Midlands Engine Investment Fund

Worcestershire businesses are being encouraged to take advantage of the support and funding available through the Midlands Engine Investment Fund.

The Midlands Engine Investment Fund(MEIF) is an initiative launched by the government-owned British Business Bank, supported by the European Regional Development Fund. It is a key part of the government’s vision aimed at boosting the region’s economy and supporting the growth of smaller businesses between 2017 and 2022.

The MEIF supports businesses through 4 ways, Small Business Loans, Debt Finance, Equity Finance and Proof of Concept.

Numerous local businesses have benefitted from funding by the MEIF and you can read more about different case studies of Worcestershire businesses below.
