Companies invited to HS2 Business Opportunities breakfast event

Businesses are being invited to attend a HS2 business opportunities breakfast event.

The free to attend breakfast event will be taking place from 8am – 10am on Thursday 29 June at Wyre Forest House in Kidderminster, hosted by North Worcestershire Economic Development and Regeneration (NWedR) and the University of Wolverhampton.

Speakers from HS2, West Midlands Combined Authority and University of Wolverhampton will highlight:

  • HS2 opportunities for local businesses
  • How to access business support and routes to funding
  • Upskilling to meet the HS2 challenge

Over the next decade, billions of pounds will be invested in HS2 which means huge opportunities for regional businesses large and small. More than 500 potential suppliers have already been identified in the West Midlands, from construction to catering.

Businesses will be able to find out more about how you can compete for tenders across a range of business sectors.  Businesses can also connect with a range of practical support including ERDF programmes, information on up-skilling your workforce and advice on how to get HS2 ready.
