Businesses are being invited to attend the next Sustainability Forum event taking place on Thursday 21 September, from 8am at Oakland International Ltd, B98 9DB, in Redditch.
Nationally-recognised and winners of a Queen’s Award for Sustainability, Oakland International are offering local businesses the chance to learn from their success and tour their facility. Energy and Engineering Consultants Pro Enviro will be giving advice on implementing energy saving measures and Low Carbon Opportunities Programme Manager, Ruth Corrall will outline the funding opportunities for renewable energy.
The Sustainability Forum, in association with the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP), is a series of free workshops aimed at encouraging businesses across our region to reduce the environmental impacts of their business operations through energy and resource efficiency improvements, as well as wider sustainability good practice.
This forum will begin with a light breakfast and networking and will conclude with a tour of Oakland’s site. The event is free to attend, however, spaces are limited, so please contact the Chamber Events Team early to secure your place.
