Businesses are being invited to attend the Business Energy and Innovation Conference, the first joint event run by the Business Energy Efficiency Programme (BEEP) and the Low Carbon Opportunity Programme (LOCOP).
The free event will enable Worcestershire, Herefordshire, Shropshire and Telford businesses to hear from expert speakers, see some of the latest innovations and energy-efficient projects in action, and learn about available grants to help reduce carbon footprint and make instant financial savings.
The free event will be held on Wednesday 20 March 2019 09:00 – 14:15 at Stanbrook Abbey, Jennet Tree Lane, Callow End, Malvern WR2 4TY
The event will also provide businesses with lunch and an opportunity to network with fellow businesses and meet leading energy efficiency experts.
Businesses will be able to hear from speakers discussing energy efficient technologies to include battery storage for renewable technologies, electric vehicles and industrial energy efficiency.
Representatives from the BEEP and LOCOP programmes will set out how the scheme has successfully helped local SMEs to identify and fund energy efficiency improvements and renewable energy systems.
Businesses wanting to make improvements to their carbon footprint will be able to find out from local companies as to how both the BEEP and LOCOP programmes benefited from grants on their lighting, heating, equipment, processes and much more.
There will be a opportunity to visit the Energy Technologies Marketplace which will include stands around innovation and cutting edge technologies and will provide attendees with the chance to network with other delegates, and enjoy meeting some of the region’s leading environmental technology suppliers.
