Businesses invited to attend DCMS funded cyber workshop in Worcestershire

Businesses are invited to attend the Cyber 101 workshop taking place in Malvern on the 1 November.

The Cyber 101 workshops are a DCMS-funded national programme aimed to grow the UK’s cyber security sector. The programme offers intensive one-day Bootcamps, Deep Dive sessions and Demo Days that will enable early stage cyber security businesses to grow and gain access to potential customers and investors. The Cyber 101 workshops are delivered by Digital Catapult in partnership with The Accelerator Network, Inogesis, and The Centre for Secure Information Technologies (CSIT).

Attending the event in Malvern, Worcestershire will help businesses to sharpen their business skills through peer-to-peer learning and expert advice. It will include 2-to-1 mentoring sessions that provide bespoke guidance and help build lasting connections.

Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership are working in partnership with Midlands Cyber and BetaDen in order to host a Cyber 101 bootcamp in Worcestershire and are welcoming interest and are looking forward to hearing from cyber security startups and scaleups operating across all UK sectors with existing product or service offerings. Businesses at all stages are invited to attend the Cyber 101 Bootcamp whether it be a new start up business, a business looking to refine their business proposition or a mature company seeking feedback and advice.

Businesses who attend will get a chance to:

  • Receive tutoring and tailored expert advice on different topics. Topics include; development of an effective value proposition, market validation, sales and marketing techniques, international expansion, finance and capital and business models.
  • Build new relationships with customers, partners and peers.
