Businesses invited to teleconference on Late Payment

Local SME businesses are being invited to attend the ‘Your Minster, Your Questions’ teleconference to discuss late payment and methods on how to overcome it.

The teleconference has been organised to allow businesses to ask questions to the Government’s Small Business Minster and Small Business Commissioner regarding late payment and what they can do to minimise the impact that late payments can have on their business.

Kelly Tolhurst MP, the Government’s Small Business Minister, will be holding a teleconference on 9 May at 10am with Paul Uppal, the Small Business Commissioner.

The Government also recently ran a consultation on late payment, and is developing further actions to help drive a fairer payment culture. You can read more about this here.

Places on the teleconference are limited and individuals are encouraged to register their attendance for the event at the earliest convenience.
