Local tech businesses are being urged to complete their Tech Nation report survey by the Wednesday 7 February deadline.
The Tech Nation report is the most comprehensive snapshot of the UK’s digital tech sector, using responses from thousands of digital businesses and community partners from around the country. The fourth report is set to be bigger than ever before and local businesses are being invited to get involved.
Tech Nation 2018 will be available to all once published, so businesses will be able to see where their answers fit within the wider tech community, highlighting which areas of the country need to focus on improving their digital technology investment.
The findings from the Tech Nation 2017 report as a whole showed that the UK digital tech investment was 50% higher than any other European country. Another finding from the report suggests the digital tech sector shows great growth prospects as turnover of digital businesses was estimated at £170 billion in 2016, an increase of £30 billion in just 5 years. This links with how the digital tech industry is growing jobs in the UK 2 times faster than the non-digital sector.

Businesses that complete the survey will be entered into a charity draw. The winner of this draw can choose a charity from a shortlist to receive a £1,000 donation from Tech City UK.
