Catalyse Angel Network has continued its strong growth after hosting its third pitching event on the 8th of July 2026, sponsored by Worcestershire Ambassadors, with the total investment offered to businesses so far reaching £390,000.
Established by Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) and supported by Worcestershire County Council and Herefordshire Council, the network continues to connect ambitious early-stage businesses with angel investors from across the region.
Since launching in November 2025, Catalyse Angel Network has hosted three pitching events, providing a platform for high-growth founders to present their businesses to an engaged audience of investors. The latest event built on the momentum of the previous two, generating further investment opportunities and strengthening relationships between founders and the regional investment community.
The network has now facilitated investment offers totalling £390,000, with this amount expected to increase following the most recent pitching event. Catalyse’s Summer 2026 Pitching Evening was held at Malvern Hills Science Park and sponsored by Worcestershire Ambassadors. Worcestershire Ambassadors play a vital role in championing Worcestershire as a thriving place to live, work, invest and do business. Their impact is clear with their members having collectively raised over £1.5m for local charities and community initiatives, whilst also supporting projects that drive economic growth, innovation, and opportunity across Worcestershire.
Catalyse Angel Network was created to address the shortage of early-stage investment opportunities available across the region, helping ambitious founders access the capital, expertise and connections needed to accelerate growth. By building a collaborative community of angel investors and entrepreneurs, the programme is helping to create a stronger innovation ecosystem across the two counties.

Since launching in November 2025, we have seen exceptional momentum as our investor membership has doubled, founders from across Herefordshire, Worcestershire and beyond seek us out for pitching opportunities, and enquiries for sponsorships and partnerships.
One of the founders to benefit from the network is Sarah Morgan, Director of Data Solutions at Scalably, who was introduced to Catalyse Angel Network through BetaDen Accelerate, Worcestershire’s multi-award-winning programme for technology businesses.
Having pioneered her business through the accelerator, Sarah was given the opportunity to pitch to the region’s growing community of angel investors, helping to build valuable connections and support Scalably’s fundraising journey.

The network is continuing to welcome new angel investors who are interested in supporting the next generation of innovative businesses. Members gain access to carefully curated investment opportunities, collaborative due diligence, co-investment opportunities and a growing network of experienced investors.
Applications are also open for founders across Worcestershire and Herefordshire who are seeking investment to grow their businesses. The network is particularly keen to hear from innovative, scalable companies raising between £25,000 and £500,000, with SEIS/EIS in place, to pitch at future Catalyse Angel Network events.
