Bookings are now open for the WLEP Annual Conference, taking place at Sixways Stadium on the morning of 10 October.
A dedicated website has been set up and over 100 bookings already received.
Entitled ‘Driving Worcestershire Forward’, the proceedings will be chaired by TV Presenter and champion rally driver, Penny Mallory. Also featured will be presentations by local carpet manufacturers, Brintons, and Holywell Malvern Spring Water and profiles of several other Worcestershire based organisations, including Evesham Vale Growers and Worcestershire County Cricket Club.
WLEP will provide an update on achievements to date and inform the audience of progress towards its bid for funds from the Growth Fund, European Regional Development Fund and European Social Fund.
The conference will feature many opportunities for delegate interaction, including live text polls, a twitter feed (#drivingworcs) and the opportunity for businesses to ‘tweet up’ with on-line colleagues.
