Earlier this month saw the return of the Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce Chamber Business Expo where over 700 people took part in a successful day of exhibiting and networking at the Three Counties Showground in Malvern.
The opportunities for businesses to get together have been limited over the past 18 months, so this year’s Business Expo presented Herefordshire and Worcestershire companies with the chance to gain new connections and raise their brand profile at the first in-person Chamber Business Expo in over 18 months.
Statistics collected from the day of the Expo showed businesses benefited massively from the networking and the opportunities to gain new contacts. 9 out of 10 people at the Expo met 3 or more vital new connections which they will find beneficial in the future, with almost as many saying they had warm sales leads that were created on the day of the Expo.
“This was my first time at a Chamber Expo and will definitely attend again! It was great to talk to people in person and catch up with contacts throughout the day.” Said a first-time attendee at the Expo.
The Malvern Three Counties Showground was filled with a buzz as businesses got the chance to showcase their brands through exhibiting as well as network with other business professionals. The main hall also included a dedicated Networking Zone, sponsored by Worcestershire Growth Hub where many businesses conducted client meetings and made new connections. Overall, the Chamber Business Expo was a huge success.
Many businesses commented on the atmosphere at the Expo and were thankful for the opportunity to meet new people as well as generate sales leads. Attendees said that the opportunity to connect with so many people was vital especially after the past 18 months where meeting new people has been so difficult.
