Worcestershire County Council has launched a recruitment campaign which encourages people to work in Worcestershire. The Leave The Big City Behind You campaign calls for people to either move away from larger, congested cities to find a new life in Worcestershire, or commute to the county to work for the Council.
The campaign was launched on the Council’s social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and Instagram) on Tuesday 3 April and has already been seen by over 20,000 people.
Worcestershire has one of the fastest growing local economies in the country and being “Open for Business” is a key priority for the Council. A successful and growing local economy will generate wealth for residents and businesses, which in turn will allow the Council to invest more in public services.
