Description – The rapid development of this 5-hectare site will meet the urgent need for a local medical school, which will serve the wider region and enable collaborative innovation with local med-tech centres. It will deliver high-calibre, interdisciplinary education for doctors, nurses, nursing apprentices and other health professionals. An Inclusive Cricket Education Centre, built adjacent to the Medical School, will create a new international venue, attracting players and visitors from around the world. This project will bring transformational change to a derelict city centre site, will deliver hundreds of new high-value jobs to the region and will establish Worcester as an innovative leader in the health and well-being industry.
