Start up and early stage business are being offered a funding boost to help meet their growth plans.
The Enterprising Worcestershire Grant can provide from £1,000 to £1,500 at a rate of 50% funding towards eligible expenditure. The fund is available to enterprises that have been trading for less than 36 months and trade a majority business to business.
A number of start up and early stage businesses in Worcestershire have already been awarded funding such as Sarah Stewart from Open Space Rooms in Malvern who said: “receiving funding to help furnish our new business centre has given us the opportunity to provide fully furnished space for our clients to move straight in to. This both allows us to provide a complete office solution and allows our clients to avoid the large upfront cost of moving office. The grant application process was straight forward and simple. The team were really helpful and supportive which meant the processes was quick and dare I say it easy”.
