EU Transitional support available to Worcestershire businesses

Worcestershire businesses are being encouraged to contact Worcestershire Business Central to access FREE expert EU Transitional support.

The county’s growth hub, Worcestershire Business Central, have teamed up with the rest of the West Midlands Growth Hubs to work together to provide businesses with access to free advice following the end of the transition period and the UK’s exit from the EU.

The website has been launched to provide expert and impartial information to help businesses stay informed about the changes that affect them and take advantage of new opportunities arising from the new rules which came into force from January 1.

Worcestershire Business Central have provided this support to the Worcestershire business community by expanding the programme coverage to include the Worcestershire region.

They have joined forces with Growth Hubs across the midlands such as in Coventry and Warwickshire, Greater Birmingham and Solihull, the Black Country, Stoke-on-Trent, the Marches and Staffordshire to help businesses throughout the West Midlands understand the key areas of change and the challenges arising from the UK’s new trading status.

When visiting the website, businesses will be given the opportunity to complete an EU Transition Support Questionnaire to request specialist support needed by a business. They will then be contacted by the specialist adviser dedicated to their area.

Businesses are also being made aware that through the website they will be able to access a series of virtual events hosted by the Department for International Trade and partners which also helps them to find out the latest advice and guidance.
