Excellence in Employment Charter

Organisations are invited below to sign up to the new Excellence in Employment Charter.

 

What is the charter?

Employers who sign up to the Excellence in Employment Charter will be supported through a series of workshops to raise standards across several themes within the Charter. Employers play a significant part in the lives of the people working for them; not only can they support the health, safety
and development of their staff but they can also ensure that they are fairly treated and rewarded. As a result, being part of the Charter can help improve the performance and success of their organisation, realise numerous business benefits and ensure employees reach their full potential.

Who can sign-up?

Any organisation that is based in Worcestershire and is an employer can join the Worcestershire Good Employment Charter. This includes businesses, public sector bodies, service providers, the third sector, and voluntary and community organisations.

Organisations involved with the Excellence in Employment Charter will also have the opportunity to be a part of the national REC Good Recruitment Collective. It is a free platform that facilitates regular exchanges on good and inclusive hiring practices and gives employers access to various free resources, ranging from webinars to benchmarking tools, research reports and practical guides.
