Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Autumn Business Expo, taking place on Thursday 6 October at the Three Counties Showground from 9.00am-3.00pm and sponsored by Hewett Recruitment, is offering local businesses the unique opportunity to hear from John Carr, Partner Manager at Facebook.
John is the keynote speaker for the Expo’s networking breakfast, a highlight of the day which regularly attracts 250 people from across the two counties and beyond. Previous speakers have included Mark Berrisford-Smith, Chief Economist at HSBC UK Commercial Banking (March 2016) and Simon Gibson, Chairman of the Alacrity Foundation and Chief Executive of Wesley Clover Corporation (October 2015).
John will kick start the event by speaking to attendees on “The Evolution of Communication”. Ben Mannion from overall sponsor Hewett Recruitment will also address guests before officially opening the 125 stand business exhibition at 9.30am.
The Autumn Expo features an exciting programme, including two free workshops delivered by Facebook: “Driving Growth With Facebook” at 9.30am and “Introduction To Instagram” at 10.30am. The theme for the October Expo is Health and Wellbeing, and the exhibition will feature an interactive zone where visitors can find out about the importance of health and wellbeing in the workplace. Johnson Fleming, based in Bromsgrove, are delivering a free seminar on Auto Enrolment at 9.30am, and visitors can meet associates throughout the day in the popular Networking Zone, sponsored by SME Solicitors.
This Expo also offers businesses a unique opportunity to meet the local International Trade team on board the Exporting is GREAT truck, which will be present outside throughout the day. The team will be available to advise businesses about export support, and the truck will also host several mini workshops – visit the Export Hub website for a full programme.
