How are funding decisions taken?

All funding decisions taken by the LEP are made in accordance with our Assurance Framework with particular reference to the published Scheme of Delegation, Conflicts of Interest Policy and Code of Conduct Policy for Staff and for Board members.

Who is on the Worcestershire LEP Board?

Board members are drawn from both the private and public sectors and are leaders, advocates and ambassadors for Worcestershire’s economic prosperity.

Who is on the Worcestershire LEP Business Board?

Worcestershire LEP’s Business Board membership comprises business leaders drawn from across a wide range, nature and type of businesses in various sectors in Worcestershire. Details of the Worcestershire LEP Business Board can be viewed here.

How is the Worcestershire LEP funded?

Worcestershire LEP receives capital grant funding from UK Government via the Growth Deal programme as well as Growing Places Fund and core funding to support its activity. In addition, the LEP receives revenue and in-kind support from the city, district, borough and county councils. The LEP also receives in-kind support from a wide range of other public and private sector partners, as well as sponsorship for its Annual Conference.

Where does the Worcestershire LEP publish its accounts?

Worcestershire LEP’s financial accounts are published annually in the LEP’s Annual Reports. A link to the LEP’s Annual Reports is available here.

In addition, Worcestershire LEP’s accountable body, Worcestershire County Council, publishes annual accounts which will identify projects against which LEP funds have been allocated.

Where does the Worcestershire LEP publish the decisions it makes?

Worcestershire LEP publishes the decisions taken at all of its Board meetings in the minutes. A link to the minutes from each Board meeting can be viewed here.
