Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce shortlisted for World Chamber Competition

There is now just one month to go until the winners of the World Chamber Competition are revealed.

The World Chambers Competition, organised by the ICC World Chambers Federation (WCF), is the only global awards programme to recognise projects developed by Chambers of Commerce and the industry worldwide. Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is a finalist in the Best Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) Project, after being recognised for Worcestershire Works Well, competing against Chambers from Brazil, Iran and India.

Worcestershire Works Well (WWW) is a health and wellbeing scheme designed to raise awareness of particular health issues. The Chamber’s partnership with the Worcestershire County Council Public Health, Community First, Sports Partnership Herefordshire & Worcestershire and Worcestershire Regulatory Services for WWW has allowed the Chamber to work with over 90 active companies and impacts over 28,000 employees, by encouraging and supporting lifestyle changes.

The Chamber has thanked Nicola Whiting, Chief Operating Officer at Titania Ltd, and Sue Fitzmaurice, Compensation & Benefits Manager at Southco Manufacturing Ltd, for helping to create the presentation that will be shown at the awards ceremony next month.

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is proud to be representing Worcestershire on an international level, bringing well deserved recognition to the county. The winners of all four categories will be announced at a Congress Gala Dinner, held in Sydney, Australia on Thursday 21 September 2017.
