Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association judged Grade 1 Outstanding in Ofsted Inspection

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Group Training Association (HWGTA) has received a Grade 1 Outstanding report following a recent Ofsted inspection.

The achievement means that HWGTA is one of approximately 13% of post 16 education establishments in the Country to achieve this judgement since 2005. HWGTA is also the only provider of its type to currently hold an “outstanding” outcome from Ofsted under the most recent common inspection framework.

The Ofsted report noted how apprentices’ achievement of qualifications is outstanding and the mix of qualifications they achieve enhances their employment and promotion prospects significantly. Ofsted’s report also stated how apprentices develop excellent personal and social skills through a range of highly engaging enrichment activities and apprentices’ attitudes to learning and work are excellent.

Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s support for upgrading HWGTA’s training facilities also received a mention in Ofsted’s report.
