How is your business recovering? Chamber economic survey looking for your business concerns

The data collected from the Chamber’s Quarterly Economic Survey helps to shape government policy and highlight some of the challenges businesses continue to face while they reopen and trade following the easing of restrictions over the past few months.

For those who take part in the survey, not only will you receive a free copy of the final report once data collection has finished, but by taking part your business will be entered into a prize draw with a chance to win 2 tickets for a Morgan Motor Company Factory Tour.

The report will provide a snapshot of how well businesses are regaining confidence and the levels of profit they have managed to recuperate over the past 3 months.

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce represent the views of their Members to local and national government, ensuring that businesses within the two counties shape government policy. A great benefit of being part of this extensive network of business support is that your views are represented in Quarterly Economic Reports, which are widely used by HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the Office for Budgetary responsibility to influence policy making.

UK sales have significantly improved during the previous quarter (Q2). 48% of businesses have increased sales, compared to 29% last quarter (Q1). Following the easing of restrictions, UK firms are starting to recover from the economic shock caused by Covid-19, with key industries such as Manufacturing and Services showing improved sales, leading the economic recovery.

The Chamber wants to know how the last three months have impacted your investment plans, sales, orders, and recruitment. By providing this data, the Chamber can lobby government and drive change to help support your business during such challenging times.
