HW Chamber named as Times Top 100 Organisation

Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce has announced that it has been selected as one of The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work for 2018.

The Chamber has been named as the 46th ‘Best-Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work For’ in its first year of application. In addition to this accolade, the Chamber has also received a 1-Star accreditation from Best Companies, which is a significant achievement for businesses as it shows that the organisation has “very good” levels of workplace engagement. This award also extends to the support that the Chamber offers to its Members, recognising the hard-work each department puts in to provide the best level of guidance to the business community.

The award follows a year of success for H&W Chamber of Commerce, having been selected as a runner-up in the World Chambers Competition back in September last year and more locally, being named a winner at the #WorcestershireHour Awards in December.

Speaking of the accolade, Sharon Smith said: “I am thrilled that the Chamber has been named as one of The Sunday Times Top 100 Best Not-for-Profit Organisations to Work for this year. The award truly highlights how passionate the Chamber team is about supporting the local business community in Herefordshire and Worcestershire, and how this reflects back into the Chamber.

“I’d like to thank the Chamber team for their continuous hard work, but I’d like to also extend this to our Members who are the driving force behind the work the Chamber carries out.”
