Worcestershire Business Central support accelerates growth for Insightconxs Ltd

Over the last few years, Evesham-based Insightconxs has established itself as a trusted and national provider to businesses both small and large.

The cloud services company has quickly become a brand name in its home county of Worcestershire, having built its client base through personal contacts and referral networks. Working within the county, Insightconxs has joined the “Soft-landing” programme, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and has introduced specific offers and rates for businesses based in Worcestershire.

With a solid platform to build from, Insightconxs is looking to launch the next stage of its business plan, and continue to improve on the growth it has seen over the last few years. To achieve this, Anthony Gander, Managing Director, and Adrian Hughes, Director, decided that the firm needed to invest in a more structured marketing strategy and recruit talented individuals to drive the growth in sales and provide support to its rapidly growing customer base.

Adrian met with Randesh Kalar, Business Engagement Manager at Worcestershire Business Central, who made the Insightconxs team aware of the Worcestershire Business Accelerator Programme, run by Worcestershire County Council, that can help eligible businesses investigate, advance, commercialise and protect innovative business ideas. The company was accepted onto the initial Worcestershire Business Accelerator Programme where it was assigned a business mentor, Melanie.

With the help of its new business mentor, Adrian quickly constructed a comprehensive marketing plan and they identified available grant funding, through the Business Accelerator programme.

The grant was an ideal opportunity to accelerate the growth of the business, funding its marketing strategy and additional team members, allowing the company to move stages ahead of its business plan. Specifically, the grant was allocated to key elements of the marketing plan, lead generation, advanced demonstration equipment and a new website that reflects the business’ growth and improvements.

Following grant approval, Insightconxs quickly started the ball rolling, implementing key elements of the marketing plan and beginning a campaign with an external marketing company. After only two months the company is already seeing increased sales. The improved demonstration equipment is already leading to more efficient meetings and is showing an increase in conversion rates as the team is able to better demonstrate the various services Insightconxs provides.

The funding that Insightconxs have received from Worcestershire County Council has provided the company with a great step up in its growth, supporting new sales and team members. The company is delighted to have employed two new Technical Apprentices, Montgomery Lea and Nicholas Russell, to support its growing customer base and will be looking to further expand the team within the coming months.

Speaking of the journey, Insightconxs said: “We are especially grateful to the team at Worcestershire Business Central, who opened the door for us, to the support from Worcestershire Business Accelerator, our business coach and a whole network of resources we now have access too.

“We are looking forward to continuing as part of the Business Accelerator Program, Smart Board activities and the further benefits that these organisations will bring. Through our continued growth and working alongside many Worcestershire businesses to provide the necessary digital infrastructure at a reasonable price, we hope to continue to contribute to our local community and support the local economy.”
