Ever felt like telling policy makers at the highest level what it’s really like being in business? Well, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce is giving you the chance to do just that. The Quarterly Economic Survey (QES), which takes only 5 minutes to complete, feeds into the British Chambers of Commerce’s nationwide QES – the biggest economic survey in the country – a highly respected and reliable economic indicator monitored closely by organisations such as the Treasury, the Bank of England, the Office for Budget Responsibility, the EU Commission and the IMF.
Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce were ranked 5th out of 46 Chambers for participation in the QES in the first quarter of 2015 – the more participation, the more influence, so your opinions really do count. Besides from feeding into the national picture, which has now been documented for 25 years, a local report is created, allowing all respondents to see how economic conditions are in the local economy. In addition to this, Quarterly Economic Survey themed networking breakfasts will take place after the results of each quarter, enabling respondents to hear first-hand how their results have contributed to local and national economic debates.
