Businesses reminded to attend Energy Strategy engagement workshops

Local businesses are being invited to attend a stakeholder engagement workshop to share their views on the development of a local Energy Strategy.

The strategy will build on the area’s strengths and deliver affordable energy and clean growth for Worcestershire. The work will inform Worcestershire’s Local Industrial Strategy which is being developed later in 2018. The Energy Strategy is being developed in partnership with Encraft and Sustainability West Midlands (SWM).

Worcestershire LEP is inviting local businesses to attend  one of two stakeholder engagement workshops where they will share information about the Energy Strategy and capture stakeholder feedback and local knowledge, especially around key themes relating to low carbon energy potential, growth of the low carbon sector, fuel poverty, grid capacity and energy related planning policy.

The workshop dates and locations are listed below including a link to the SWM website where interested parties can register their interest in attending.

Please note that if the workshop is oversubscribed places will be limited to one per organisation. Individuals only need to attend one of the workshops.

Location: Wychavon District Council, Queen Elizabeth Drive, Pershore, WR10 1PT

Location: Severn Waste Services, EnviRecover EfW, Hartlebury Trading Estate, Worcestershire, DY10 4JD
