The NatWest StartUp Britain Bus has been confirmed to be taking part in the Worcestershire Festival of Business.
The Worcestershire Festival of Business takes place in Worcester High Street & Guildhall on Friday 16 September 2016 and will provide a truly innovative business exhibition and networking event.
The Festival of Business will take place on Friday 16 September from 9am to 4pm and is organised by Worcestershire Enterprise Limited, the social enterprise behind the twice weekly phenomenon on Twitter known as #WorcestershireHour.
Stuart Allen, MD of Worcestershire Enterprise Limited said; “I have always wanted to bring the Festival of Business into the very heart of Worcester but there isn’t a central indoor venue large enough to accommodate us. Then we came up with the idea for an open-air event, with the exhibitors housed under market stalls. It has taken some organising but with help from Worcester BID we have made it happen.”
In association with Sanlam UK, other sponsors include: Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce, Worcestershire Ambassadors, Worcestershire LEP & Worcester City Council. Money raised from the event will support entrepreneurial training for local disadvantaged young people, providing them with the opportunity to learn the knowledge and skills required to set up their own businesses.
Additional sponsorship opportunities are available and it is expected that the event will attract significant news interest including press, radio and TV. BBC Midlands Today News featured the first Festival of Business in 2014.
Exhibitor spaces at the Outdoor High Street Area are available at £197.
