Worcestershire businesses are being encouraged to attend a series of new events designed to help them recruit and retain talent.
Recruiting and retaining talent continues to be one of the main challenges facing businesses at a local and national level.
To support Worcestershire businesses, the Worcestershire Growth Hub working in partnership with Worcestershire County Council, is delivering the ‘Create Your Future Workforce’ event series focused on recruitment and retention to help local businesses utilise the support available to overcome their talent challenges.
There is a variety of support available and these events aim to showcase those schemes to local businesses so that they can understand and benefit from the schemes to improve their organisations.
The first event, ‘Create Your Future Workforce: Understanding the Talent Challenge’, will be themed on Recruitment support and delivered on Wednesday 23 September.
Attendees will gain direct insights into a wide array of support schemes tailored to help Worcestershire businesses attract the right talent, streamline hiring processes, and build long-term employee loyalty.
The event will provide insight into what support is available and provide details on how to access the support schemes.
Alongside this there will be opportunities to network with the various support programme providers, and other like minded organisations.
Following the recruitment event on the 23 September, there will be a retention themed event, again helping local businesses to understand the retention support programmes they can be utilising to keep their talent by improving staff morale, wellbeing, and ultimately, business productivity and profitability.
Spaces for both events are limited, so organisations are encouraged to book on early to avoid disappointment.
