New support programmes launched for Worcestershire Businesses

Worcestershire businesses are being invited to get involved with two new support programmes.

Through the county’s Growth Hub, Worcestershire Business Central(WBC), 2 new business support programmes are being rolled out locally to help businesses recover and build back better from the effects of the COVID-19 Pandemic.

Peer Networks, and the Specialist Business Advisers, are the two new business support programmes from WBC and the team are currently inviting organisations to register their interest to access the free support.

Peer Networks

The Peer Networks national Government initiative is designed to help businesses by creating diverse cohorts of individuals to collaboratively work through common business issues. These issues can range from finance and HR to sales, marketing and more. The cohorts are being delivered by a series of expert facilitators  who will provide businesses with a trusted support network that ultimately helps the organisation to strengthen and improve its overall performance.

To help deliver the programme to as many businesses as possible, Worcestershire Business Central have partnered up with, BizSmart, Worcester BID, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and The Hospitality Partnership to facilitate and run  the cohorts.

More information on the eligibility requirements for the programme can be found on the Worcestershire Business Central website, or by using the links below.

Specialist Business Advisers

The second programmme, the specialist business advisers is an opportunity for organisations to receive personalised advice unique to their situation, to help their business grow.

These new business advisers have been selected to provide support to companies both large and small across the county. The support from these advisers is free to businesses and delivered in a 1-1 format with some larger virtual events coming later this quarter to help more organistions.

The specialist advisers will be able to provide advice and guidance on Marketing, Adoption of Technology, Access to Finance, Green Energy and General business support.
