New ‘Worcestershire’ Brand to promote the county as a place to live, work, visit and invest

A new ‘Worcestershire’ brand has been launched following a consultation of over 20 of the highest profile businesses and organisations in Worcestershire.

The brand has been designed to give an identity to businesses inside the county and attract investment from outside the county. The brand has been made to appeal to people of all ages and showcase Worcestershire as an exceptional place to live, work, visit and invest.

The ‘Worcestershire’ brand has drawn upon the advice of leading businesses and institutions including Worcester Bosch, Gtech, Morgan Motors, Worcester Warriors, University of Worcester, West Midland Safari Park and Heller Machine Tools. The brand has been created and will be managed by a partnership of Worcestershire LEP, Worcestershire County Council, drp, Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce and all six district councils.

Over 400 businesses witnessed the launch of the brand at Worcestershire LEP’s 2018 Annual Conference. As part of the Conference, Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire LEP and Luke Willetts, Director of Operations for Worcestershire LEP, discussed the current profile of the county and how Worcestershire is seen around the world.

Businesses are being invited to help to tell the Worcestershire story and promote the county regionally, nationally and internationally.
