Recruitment group continues commitment to charity drive

A Worcestershire recruitment firm has maintained its pledge to donate hundreds of pounds every month to charities through kind-hearted donations from its staff.

Earlier this year, over 50 employees from across The Jarell Group pledged £5 from their monthly pay packets with the company naming a new charity each month to where £250 will be donated.

The first good cause to benefit was Midland’s charity Transforming Communities, with other beneficiaries including Mind, the British Red Cross, Children In Need and Save the Children.

The company will have donated £2,000 by the end of this year with more charities set to benefit in 2023.

Group Commercial Director James Cronin has led the initiative. He said: “This has been a great and innovative way to raise money for a range of different charities with our staff leading the way and having a say where the money should go.

“Those involved have loved identifying and donating to so many good causes and it’s right that they are celebrating a great year.

“It is an initiative that will continue into 2023 and template that many other organisations could follow. We already have a long list of local and national charities we want to support.”

The Jarell Group was founded nearly 30 years ago and has since gone on to become a trusted full and part time workforce solutions provider for hundreds of businesses across the UK.
