Rural businesses invited to learn more about grant funding at ‘Pie and Pint’ workshops

Rural businesses are being invited to learn more about the funding currently available by registering their attendance at a new workshop.

The £35m Rural Development Growth Programme has recently been launched for applications and is an opportunity for businesses to develop and create new jobs, boost tourism and unlock their potential for growth.

There is a range of funding opportunities available and the workshop is designed so that businesses can discuss their own company’s ideas and plans with experts. The experts will be on hand to offer details of available funding streams appropriate to attendees’ business model, as well as provide details of the support on offer to help them in their bids.

Companies that have already benefited from similar funding will be available to share their experiences of the funding process and to outline how their companies have grown as a result of the funding and support.

The session will take place from 6-8 pm on Tuesday 7 January at Pershore College.

The workshop is a collaboration between Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership and representatives from the LEADER Programme which is run by Worcestershire County Council.

Places on the Pie and Pint workshop can be booked by visiting the Worcestershire LEP’s Eventbrite page here.
