Businesses are being encouraged to get involved with the Worcestershire Festival of Business.
The Festival of Business will take place on Friday 15 September from 9am to 4pm and is organised by Worcestershire Enterprise Limited, the social enterprise behind the twice weekly phenomenon on Twitter known as #WorcestershireHour.
The Worcestershire Festival of Business is a celebration of enterprise & entrepreneurship across the county, showcasing capability, innovation and skills.
Stuart Allen, MD of Worcestershire Enterprise Limited said; “I had always wanted to bring the Festival of Business into the very heart of Worcester and last year I did just that! An open-air event, with the exhibitors housed under market stalls on Worcester High Street & in the Guildhall worked brilliantly.”
The NatWest sponsored Start-Up Britain Bus will return this year after taking part last year and staff stated “The Worcestershire Festival of Business is the best event the bus has ever been involved with!”
Another new addition this year is a big Networking Breakfast that will take place at Worcester Guildhall prior to the Festival of Business. Organised by Sterling Networks & Sponsored by SW&A Accountants. Further details can be found on the WorcestershireHour website.
In association with Sanlam UK, other sponsors include: Worcestershire LEP, Worcestershire Ambassadors and Worcester City Council. Money raised from the event will support entrepreneurial training for local disadvantaged young people. Providing them with the opportunity to learn the knowledge and skills required to set up their own businesses.
