The Herefordshire & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce’s Quarterly Economic Survey (QES) gives you the opportunity to get your key business concerns represented to local and national policy and decision makers.
The QES is the most up to date and readily available local economic report providing a snapshot of the regions business environment.
The Chamber’s QES for quarter 2 is now open for field work and is looking to hear businesses top concerns and barriers to growth. The data will then be used to create a report which will establish trends in behaviours, monitor results and address concerns.
The data used for the report is used by organisations such as the HM Treasury, the Bank of England and the Office for Budgetary Responsibility to influence policy making and shape business support. The latest Quarterly Economic Survey is now open.
Previous QES statistics have led to lobbying of MP’s at local and national level which allows local business concerns to shape government policy and funding for local businesses.
This quarter, the survey has a spotlight on international trade and will look to reveal a clearer picture of the impact that coronavirus has had on businesses, as well as the adjustment to new international trading laws stemming from the UK’s departure from the Customs Union at the beginning of the year.
The Quarter 1 2021 report showed positive steps as 30% of businesses were looking to recruit in the subsequent 3 months, as the UK economy opens up many firms will plan to recruit in sectors such as manufacturing, technology, financial services, and engineering.
The Chamber wants to know how the crisis has impacted your investment plans, sales, orders, and recruitment over the last 3 months. By providing this data, they can then lobby government and drive change to help support your business during a challenging time.
By taking part your business will be entered into a prize draw to win 4 Westons Cider Factory tickets for a tour and tasting with two course Lunch!
