Stuart Emmerson has joined the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership as the new Invest in Worcestershire Manager.
Stuart will lead on the Invest in Worcestershire initiative, he supports and encourages new and existing business to invest in the county. He works closely with the wider local authority, the business community, Midlands Engine and the Department for International Trade.
Stuart has previously worked at a number of national business organisations including Social Enterprise UK, where he was a Regional Director and for the Federation of Small Businesses, where he was a media spokesperson and worked closely with local, regional and national government. Stuart also has extensive experience in local government, has been an advisor to an MEP in the European Parliament and spent two years working in China for the British Council.
Stuart has previously worked at a number of national business organisations including Social Enterprise UK, where he was a Regional Director and for the Federation of Small Businesses, where he worked closely with local, regional and national government and acted as a media spokesperson.
