Worcestershire Business Central is taking part in National Growth Hub Week. The campaign taking place from 16 – 20 May 2016, will celebrate the network of 39 growth hubs across the country, highlighting their work in supporting the growth of local businesses.
One event during Growth Hub week includes the Entrepreneur’s Exchange on Wednesday, 18 May, at 6pm. Here 40 of the UK’s most successful entrepreneurs are offering business advice for free at 20 locations across the UK. Growing businesses are being invited to hear how these established entrepreneurs set up and grew their businesses, the challenges they overcame to enable success, and the advice they wish they had been given. Places are free but strictly limited, register now via the entrepreneurs exchange website.
With events happening across the country, Worcestershire Business Central will also be out and about attending events throughout National Growth Hub week across Worcestershire to raise awareness on how they can help support your business needs – whether it be a start-up, growing business, developing skills, finding property, networking, or finance.
Worcestershire Business Central, which was the first Growth Hub of its kind in the West Midlands, brings all the support and information needed to start or grow a business into one place. Being a single point of access, it enables Worcestershire businesses to easily access the help and support they need. With sector expertise in agri-tech, cyber security, skills, and manufacturing, Worcestershire Business Central is your one stop shop for all of your business support.
Business Minister Anna Soubry said: “Small businesses are the beating heart of our economy and this government continues to build the right environment for them to thrive. We will keep cutting red tape and business taxes, improving access to finance and broadband, and taking forward the measures in the Enterprise Act to cement our position as the best place in Europe to do business.
“Growth Hubs have already helped thousands of businesses and, with the full network up and running, every registered business in England can access the expertise they need to succeed. Worcestershire Business Central will help entrepreneurs boost their business and create more jobs for people in the local area.”
