Three Worcestershire businesses recognised in BDO Profit Track 100 for 2018

Three Worcestershire businesses have been recognised among the UK’s fastest growing businesses, in the Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table for 2018.The Sunday times Profit Track 100 for 2018

The 19th annual Sunday Times BDO Profit Track 100 league table ranked Britain’s private companies with the fastest-growing profits over three years, recognising the businesses’ strong contribution to the local economy.

Worcester-based firms Gtech and Lioncourt Homes have appeared on the prestigious list in consecutive years with Lioncourt Homes ranked 12th and Gtech ranked 85th this year while newcomer Bromsgrove based business Bennimans ranked 73rd.

Bennimans was a new entrant to the list after working on key construction developments for Birmingham Airport and West Bromwich Albion FC. Lioncourt Homes have continued their success by completing the sales of 290 homes in 2017, five times more than they achieved in 2014. Gtech have continued their achievements of selling more than 22million domestic appliances in 19 countries worldwide.

The companies listed on the 2018 league table have achieved a higher average rate of profit growth (83%) than any previous Profit Track 100 league table, which have typically ranged from 50%-75% pa. The ‘Midlands Engine’ geographic area has overtaken London for the first time on Profit Track 100, with a total of 19 companies featuring in the list.
