On Thursday 8 July, the Government presented the Summer Economic update.
The Chancellor made the update to identify the route to recovering the UK economy with various new support packages and schemes for businesses. The focus of the update was around getting young people in work and minimizing the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic on job opportunities.
Off the back of the summer economic update, Worcestershire LEP Chief Executive, Gary Woodman caught up with Chris Walklett, WLEP board member and Tax partner at Bishop Fleming to discuss what the update means for local businesses.
This discussion is one of the Making Connections podcast episodes. The Making Connections Podcast series is designed to provide organisations with information and guidance on the latest projects and updates for Worcestershire.
