A new Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme, which has recently been launched in Worcestershire, will enable eligible businesses to claim grants of up to £3,000 towards the cost of upgrading to Superfast Broadband.
The scheme has £40m of funding attached to it and is managed by Central Government to help businesses who need support in connecting to new technologies while also helping those where the fibre network has not yet reached. Worcestershire’s businesses are being encouraged to act quickly as vouchers will be made available on a first come, first served basis until 31 March, 2016.
The Broadband Connection Voucher Scheme covers both fibre and wireless connections and is available to any eligible business, charity, voluntary organisation, SMEs, Sole-traders and businesses run from home. Further details on eligibility are available on the connection vouchers website.
