WINN is a Worcestershire Innovation Programme formed by Worcestershire County Council and the Worcestershire LEP. It brings innovators together, acting as a catalyst to create connections and collaborations across the diverse business landscape of Worcestershire. They aim to foster a vibrant innovation culture through their WINN Wednesday flagship events and programmes that celebrate Worcestershire’s historical business successes and lay the groundwork for future job creation and economic growth.
Gary Woodman, Chief Executive of Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership, said: “Worcestershire benefits from the innovation of its growing businesses and the upcoming WINN Wednesday event will enable more companies to start innovating and to continue their development. I would therefore urge local businesses to register their place for the event via the WINN website”
Cllr Dr Ken Pollock, Cabinet Member with Responsibility for Economy, Skills and Infrastructure at Worcestershire County Council, said: “Innovation plays a fundamental role in helping businesses to expand and boost their productivity. Through innovation, businesses will be able to grow their own presence and potentially enter new markets. I would certainly recommend attending the next WINN Wednesday as an opportunity for your business to network with high-profile industry experts and leading innovators.”
