Upskill or retrain your staff with Skills Bootcamps

Local businesses can access funded training to help upskill or retrain their staff via Skills Bootcamps.

Skills Bootcamps, part of the Government’s Skills for Life programme, are shaped training courses that  have been co-designed to benefit employers and respond to their skills shortages.

They give people the opportunity to build up valuable sector-specific skills based on local employer demand. Skills Bootcamps can be used by those not currently in employment or be employees looking to upskill or retrain to progress their career. Employers can use Skills Bootcamps to develop their staff in Tech and IT, Construction, Plumbing, Leadership and Management and much more.

Skills Bootcamps are available for ANY local employers who are looking to reskill or upskill their staff to meet the needs of the business. There are small costs attached for employers, large businesses (249+ employees) contribute 30% of the cost and Small and Medium (SME) businesses (1-248) only contribute 10% of the training costs.
