Worcestershire LEP has a vacancy for a Communications & PR Executive.
Worcestershire LEP has developed over the past three years to a point where it needs to further raise its public profile locally, nationally and internationally. We now have an exciting opportunity for a senior Communications and PR Executive to lead on the strategic development and expansion of PR, publicity and communications activities to support the delivery of our business plan. The jobholder would report directly to the Executive Director, would work closely with the Chairman, and be responsible for the creation and execution of effective communication plans, working closely with local and national media and identifying publicity and promotional opportunities.
You should be able to demonstrate experience in a similar role working at a strategic level and be a self-starter with a proactive approach. You should possess excellent communication skills and the ability to ensure buy-in and engagement. Commercial awareness and a good knowledge of the county and its business community would be an advantage.
