Worcestershire LEP has a vacancy for a PR and Communications Assistant.

In that regard it has recently been awarded substantial funding from Government against the delivery of a programme of key projects set out in its dynamic Strategic Economic Plan
We now have a graduate opportunity working closely with the PR and Communications Executive. This position is on a fixed term contract until the end of August 2015. The jobholder will be required to provide administrative support and assist with the delivery and development of the communications strategy of the LEP. Specific responsibilities will include: receiving media enquiries and co-ordinating all media activity, using a variety of routes to market (including social media) to support the development of the LEP, compiling case studies and good news stories, updating and maintaining the website.
The role also encompasses the creation of marketing literature, copywriting, proofreading and providing assistance at external events where appropriate.
