Video Transcript

Happy New Year from Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership. The team, we’ve had a break over Christmas and the New Year and we’re back now raring to go. I’m sure like many businesses, as we plan and prepare for the most successful 2023, that we can have.

Lots going on in our world and lots of support out there through the business Advisor program. Over 200 companies have already accessed that advice free of charge, and I’d encourage you to contact the Worcestershire Growth Hub to pick up that free advice which will help you business plan in 2023.

Also, lots going on in the skills world as we prepare for the National Apprenticeship Week, where we’re celebrating apprenticeships in the county. So apprenticeships are now for all ages and I really encourage you to look at the Worcestershire Apprenticeships website.

A couple of partner updates. So the Herefordshire and Worcestershire Chamber are leading the local skills improvement plan and there are a number of events coordinated with that. Again, I’d encourage you to go to the Chamber website and they’re preparing for the expo and also the Chamber awards,  Business awards are open for entries. In quarter one of this calendar year, there are lots of events coming up and the way to look out for those is to log on to and subscribe to our newsletter, but also go to our website for plenty going on.

We’ve got lots of things planned in the pipeline and we’re keen to talk to you about those. If you want to have a conversation about some of the things that your business is up to with us, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with either the Worcestershire LEP team or Worcestershire Growth Hub about what your business is up to in 2023. So there’ll be lots going on for the LEP and its partners in 2023. We’re keen to hear from businesses, other partners who are organizing events.

I wish you a successful year ahead. Thank you. And please subscribe more to our newsletters.
