Hello and welcome to the Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s July newsletter. Again, it’s another bumper filled newsletter with plenty of information for businesses on skills, support and innovation.
Some highlights for you this month is that, we have our workforce planning tool, which is free to access on the Growth Hub website, go to the Growth Hub website, and you can access the tool and work through. And that will get you to our workforce plan, which will then lead you to skillsboost and identifying training for your employees.
We’ve also seen the launch of BetaDen Incubate. This is a short, sharp programme compared to the BetaDen Accelerate programme. It’s fantastic to see the launch where we’re working with Barclays Eagle Labs, based out of The Kiln in Worcester, and this is the first cohort of ten companies. If you’re interested in finding out more, go to the BetaDen website, and there are another three cohorts to happen this financial year.
It was also great to see, as we get to the end of the school year, that Inspiring Worcestershire did it’s end of year report. It was given a glowing reference from the career advisors, our education partners and businesses. And nationally, we’re still in the top three in the country, as recognized as one of the best careers hubs and it’s something to be really proud of here in Worcestershire.
And then finally on the events, there’s plenty coming up on the Growth Hub website. Do have a look at the calendar. Most of those events are either free to attend or, they are great for giving you information, advice and guidance. So have a look on the Growth Hub website.
And finally, an opportunity for businesses to engage with the Worcestershire Community Foundation who are looking to raise money for local good causes across the county. And they’re looking for business backers to help them do that.
